Цей архів не планувався на початку нашої діяльності. Рішення оприлюднити записи виникло у зв’язку з тим, що в чудовому проекті polyphonyproject.com ще не було співочих колективів Луганської та Донецької областей. Крім цього, матеріали з Луганщини руйнують нав’язливі наративи, які поширювалися у багатьох медіа, щодо Сходу України, як якогось «російського порубіжжя». Насправді, Луганщина – це Україна, яка зберігає та плекає національну культурну спадщину. І цей меседж ми хочемо донести усім, хто не був на Сході України.
Вторгнення Росії в Україну та окупація майже всієї Луганської області, тільки загострили ситуацію з українською культурою у цьому регіоні. Це стало ще одним надважливим поштовхом і спонукало нас опублікувати наявні записи та зробити їх доступними для нащадків. Традиційні пісні регіону знаходяться під загрозою повного знищення, і ми не знаємо, як довго вони проіснуватимуть у своїй живій формі. Зараз уже відомо, що доля колективів, в яких у різні часи були зроблені записи, зазнала руйнівних змін: всі селища знаходяться в окупації, окремі учасники евакуювалися, полишивши рідну домівку, а декого немає в живих.
На цьому сайті опублікувано записи, які були здійснені під час роботи над проектом «ХТО Б ПОДУМАВ ЩО ВИПАДЕ СНІГ» у квітні 2021 р. Частка записаних матеріалів увійшла до художньої інсталяції – перформансу, проте більшість записів залишалася не опублікованими до цього часу. Географія експедиції: смт. Білолуцьк Старобільської ОТГ, с. Осинове Новопсковського р-ну, с. Городище Біловодського р-ну Луганської області.
Враховуючи, що записи фольклору з Луганщини в інтернет-мережі практично не представлені, виникла ідея додавати ще й експедиційні матеріали науковців, що здійснювали виїзди в Луганську область в різні часи. На даний момент, до сайту додано експедиційні матеріали 2010 року, зібрані київськими науковцями – Владою Русіною та Світланою Маховською (записи з сіл Литвинівка Біловодського району та Калмиківка Міловського району). Також додано матеріали 2004 року з села Велика Чернігівка Станично-Луганського району записані у фольклорній експедиції коледжу і Луганської державної академії культури і мистецтв, які передала дослідниця з Луганську – Ірина Нестеренко.
Запрошуємо до співпраці дослідників Луганщини. Плануємо і надалі розміщувати на сайті нові матеріали.

The decision to make the recordings public was due to the fact that there were no singing groups from the Luhansk and Donetsk regions in the excellent project polyphonyproject.com . In addition, the materials from Luhansk region destroy the obsessive narratives that were spread in many media about the East of Ukraine as some kind of „Russian border“. In fact, Luhansk Region is Ukraine that preserves and cherishes the national cultural heritage. And we want to convey this message to everyone who has not been to Eastern Ukraine.
Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and occupation of almost the entire Luhansk region only exacerbated the situation with Ukrainian culture in this region. This was another important impetus and prompted us to publish the existing records and make them available for posterity. The traditional songs of the region are in danger of being completely destroyed, and we do not know how long they will last in their living form. Now it is already known that the fate of the collectives, in which records were made at different times, has undergone devastating changes: all villages are under occupation, some members evacuated, leaving their native homes, and some are no longer alive.
This website publishes the recordings that were made during the trip for the project „WHO’D HAVE THOUGHT THAT SNOW FALLS“ in April and May 2021. Parts of the recorded materials were included in the art installation – performance, but most of the recordings remained unpublished until now.
Geography of the expedition: Bilolutsk, Starobilska OTG, village Osynove, Novopskovsky district, village Horodischtsche of Bilovodsky district, Luhansk region.
Taking into account that folklore records from the Luhansk region are practically not represented on the Internet, the idea arose to add expeditionary materials of scientists who made trips to the Luhansk region at different times. At the moment, the 2010 expedition materials collected by Kyiv scientists Vlada Rusina and Svitlana Makhovska (records from the villages of Lytvynivka, Bilovodsky district and Kalmykivka, Milovsky district) have been added to the website. Materials from 2004 from the village of Velika Chernihivka, Stanychno-Luhansk district, recorded in the folklore expedition of the college and the Luhansk State Academy of Culture and Arts, which were handed over by a researcher from Luhansk, Iryna Nesterenko, have also been added.
We invite researchers from the Luhansk region to cooperate. We plan to upload new materials on this website in the future.
